    Morey's way to tell clutchfans "stay calm"? :eek::D

    Personally i have no idea...but i guess we could at least look at struggling teams or teams that already gave up on the season so:

    - Miami is a team struggling right now, they are going to pay the tax and for a team with a good chance to end up in the lottery well, that's not exactly great. They have a couple of pieces that would fit here on paper (Winslow and JJ) and that shouldn't cost much.

    - Washington is basically in the same position and guys like Porter, Oubre, Morris shouldn't cost much.

    - Cavs are probably looking to traded everyone aside for Sexton, but not sure who we could trade for with them...personally i don't see anything good in Cleveland aside for TT maybe...and Love let's say, personally i'm not a fan but eh, not sure we can be picky at this point.

    - Suns have more young/interesting pieces but, Warren isn't a great fit imo, Jackson is probably not available...i always liked Holmes, would still love to get him.

    - Atlanta = Bazemore

    NBA rules state that you can trade a player 2 months after you acquired him not anytime sooner during the season and NBA trade deadline is Feb. 7th so if Morey wanna flip player he has to acquire them before or on this Friday

    This all seems way too transparent for Morey. Almost sloppy.

    Why cut until a trade is in place? I’m sure reasons exist, but gotta say I’m puzzled

    I wouldn't get my hopes up lol. Probably end up with some scrub that lights it up the first two games and then sucks.

    If they had to create a roster spot for a trade, that would mean they plan on taking back more players than they are sending out. Interesting.

    I'm not sure this adds much, but you can take this to the bank. The Rockets are hopeful and preparing as if a deal will happen (it's not guaranteed, however). They're looking for wing depth. If they can't get it, they're seeking small deals that improves their flexibility going into the deadline.
