We must be watching different games. His feet are fantastic laterally. Defense doesn't seem to be his problem.
We're so bad, that this guy from the street played 30 minutes tonight That's saying how much MCW and CHRISSSSS sucks. Why is CHRISS even in the league??? WAIVE THIS BUM, NOT MELO!!!
I cut him some slack. This morning he was a D-leaguer. His stats from RGV in 7 games this year: https://basketball.realgm.com/dleague/teams/Rio-Grande-Valley-Vipers/14/stats D House per game: 32.8 mins...6.3 (FGM)...13.9 (FGA)...2.0 (3PM)....5.9 (3PA)...4.7 rebs...3 ast...20.3 pts Next in points: Brandon Sampson: 16.6 pts Caboclo: 13.4 pts Angel Rodriguez: 12.8 pts Vince Edwards: 12.0 pts Qi: 11.9 pts Morey is now a genius for bringing this kid in and not letting an ego being an issue. Cut MCW come Dec 15th. Ennis took a hit to the head which allowed House time (closing out the game). Ennis was a minus 15 for the game House was a minus 6 for the game. Let the kid settle in. Settle in to some co-players couch. Geez.
It’s a disgrace to play him that many minutes. Gary Clark should have gotten at least half of those minutes. Looks like all we do is sign more scrubs and play more scrubs.
MDA just threw the kid in the water and see how he would swim. He looked okay, slightly better than MCW, worse than Clark and Ennis.
This is not a kid though. He's a year older than Capela and has been on 2 other NBA rosters and Warriors training camp as well as being an RGV veteran. What's really sad is that Chriss and MCW have been practicing with the team for a couple months now and we can't trust them to play a combined 10 minutes in an OT game. Even Hartenstein who everyone was saying is playing well couldn't top 10 minutes. MDA is recoiling imo. Losing this game was not a worse outcome than risking injury for our only decent players. Should have thrown all the end of bench players to the fire and hoped they were hot tonight. He's coaching like we're in a playoff series. Risking injury.
Here is House vs the Warriors last April @ 20 secs into video: House takes it to the house in Draymond Green’s face. @ 58 secs into video: House takes it to the the house in Durant’s mug. This kid is not afraid of the champs, unlike most. Not saying Gary Clark....most rookies are like deer in the headlights., and some vets. *side note: Notice at end of game Booker in street clothes.
he is good! why didnt we signed him at the start of the season? and this was the best part of the video i didnt knew he has it in him
We are spending 160 million on Paul but those who play are MCW and Danuel House ... this is a joke, right? A whole offseason to build a team and the result is the worst bench in the league. Amazing!
Just my opinion....Morey wanted the project of MC (hammer)W transformation to “wing player” to work. They did give MCW a chance......but wing players nowadays need to be able to shoot and MCW does not. I wasn’t buying his summer workout video his people were pushing of MCW making 3’s. Gary Clark showed a lot of promise; but I have Gary Clark more as a PF. Vince Edwards was a pick bought and paid for. Team prob wanted him to be groomed to get minutes this season. Just not ready. Adel was a tough release in my opinion; I liked him more than Edwards. People need to understand that House left the D-league team to go to the Suns with 22 games left in the season. Find lodging in a new city and then asked to lead the team as a second or third option. I need to find out how many games Booker and Warren missed during that time. Chriss, Bender, others were playing that bad. He was one of the only few bright spots of last years team. Impressed enough to get the call from the Warriors this offseason. Warriors are a team built on wing players and lacked the room to keep him. As I’ve said, he just needs to score more than MCW’s 4 points a game and Jerebkos 6 pts a game (on about 35% from 3’s)........the Vince Carter 7 points a game on 18 minutes might be hard for House to match, but if given 18 minutes a game he could probably give the Rockets 8 pts, once he gets comfortable. Not saying we win all of our games; but CP3 and Gordon need to play better eventually and help cover up some of his flaws.
I'd like to see him with some more minutes with the starters. I really like his rim attacks off the bounce. 25 years young, 6-7, Thicc, 40 inch vertical... 46-39-80 shooting splits in the GLeague. I wouldn't mind seeing D'Antoni shake things up drastically. Throw this guy in there with the starters and see what happens.
The whole NBA is mediocre, except for a couple of teams. Anybody can lose to anyone. However, our switching defense is flat out horrible. They are making James switch onto guards and forwards that can penetrate and since he can't/won't defend on the perimeter leave players wide open for layups or passes for wide open 3s. It looks like he's play defense in a pickup game. I so agree with McFail that team members are laughing when he says let's play D.
