And those low scoring totals are with overtime games, the defense having some scores and the defense putting the offense in favorable field position

Who would have though that Bob O'Brien's team would have a better record than Bob D'Antoni's team on November 5?

All that matters is who has the most points at the end of the game. It is a team game, God forbid the defense plays a part in it.

BoB trusts the defense, and especially the amazing Romeo... and I don't blame him. The stats don't lie, when DW4 doesn't turn the ball over, the Texans win. In the past 4 games he hasn't thrown over 240 yards, but he also has a 9:2 touchdown to interception ratio. In the previous 5 games, he averaged 320 yards per game, but his touchdown to interception ratio was 8:5.

He's now gone three games in a row without a turnover and without taking crazy hits. I'll take wins over offensive numbers every day of the week.

Wait..but I thought all the wins were in spite of BOB, they were because of Watson & CO.

My post was in reference to some poster who was going back and forth with me insisting that the reason the special teams was better was because Gaine brought in players like Bademosi. And not because they finally hired a coach who knew what he was doing.

Apparently you dont understand the concept of hiring a new ST's coach and drafting/FA/adding UDFA guys to help the new ST's coach out. It is a commitment by Gaine to improve the ST's on all levels. What's the one thing all of the new ST's guys have in common?

I'll answer it for you, SPEED.

There's alot of BOB hate up in here. Some fans want to see the Texans lose just so they can see BOB get fired.

I wonder what BTG thinks about this winning streak? I bet he's not happy at all. Being right is more important than winning to some.

Did the Texans just come off several seasons of title contention and come within a hair of a Superbowl appearance?

I wanted to get rid of him...but you got to respect how he’s held this team together after 0-3. A lot of teams would give up on the coach...but they pushed thru and look good.

    As does all ignorance.

Serious question, why would you want to get rid of him? I truly ask this question of anyone who has been waiting for a franchise QB. Firing BoB, sets back our first franchise QB in 17 years.

BoB isn't perfect, but he's more than earned respect from fans and players - why he doesn't get it, is baffling to me. I think only a handful of coaches across the NFL could do what he's done with the weapons and adversity he's had to deal with during his tenure.

Because we started 0-3 and because of a lot of coaching mistakes. You think Watson wouldn't do well under another coach? Sets us back?...because 0-3 is ahead of what? 0-4? I'm sorry that I don't share your same "I'm cool with 0-3 with all the talent on this team, but everyone else is stupid because you don't have the faith that I do." You had no idea that we would win 6 straight...and if you did, what do you see for the future since you're so damn good at reading it.
