First, they need to trade Cp3 for wall. If they can get wall, then they should trade EG and the 4 picks for butler.
Just trade for Oubre using Chriss and a lottery protected pick. We need a versatile wing terribly and Thibs won’t budge. Ennis is at best an energy guy off the bench. Morey hit gold with Clark this offseason and nothing else, I hope he realizes this already so he can improve the roster before it is too late.
Don't mortgage the future for this squad. It doesn't matter what you do, it won't be enough to beat GS.
We should just give up everyone with value and start rebuilding then...which, just to be clear, i'd be fine with if we can't upgrade the team.

Yep. If I wasn’t so addicted I’d stop watching as much. Team might squeak into the playoffs and then get roasted by whoever they play. That’s the fate awaiting this team.

I get it. It sucks. But honestly, the window closed last year when CP3 went down. Harden got us to the Western Conference finals twice so maybe Morey can retool one more time before his prime is over. That depends a lot on KD, Klay, Curry, and Donkey. There is nothing you can do when GS has 5 all stars willing to take less money to run the league unless a few all stars are willing to team up to compete. Anyway, we are not one Jimmy Butler away from a championship. Nobody is. That's probably why Minnesota hasn't received an offer they like.
Seriously. Would only edit your post to remove winkie face. Not sure how much Jimmy Buckets would help this bunch right now. Then we'd be pretty old and hurt with no draft picks looking forward.
We're old regardless of Butler being here or not though, and draft picks will never net us a player as good as Butler in the next 3 years anyway so, it's either trying to get the last star available for us or trade away everyone and rebuild. Or maybe we can tank this season, get a top 5 pick and try to move that for Davis or hope it turns out to be a Tatum kind of rookie but eh, good luck with this scenario.
