Is it a Sampson situation? So if he grows his hair back, his bball skills improve too?

I'm fine with what Melo has provided so far.

If he is mediocre for 5 games, then has 2 on fire games, I am good with that. It's all about setting expectations. My expectations are similar to that of all our bench guys. Occassionally give us something decent.

I agree with the rythm comment. And I think that's on Harden and CP3, as soon as Melo gets in, I believe Harden and CP3 should make a point of get him going. it's another kind of focus when he goes several possesions running up and down the court.

Different typo of players, but its something like the warriors do sometimes with klay, there are certain points of the season, certain games, where they make a point on getting their shooter going.

He's outperformed Gordon so far which is more of an indictment on Gordon.

I'm happy with his production overall for a 25 min guy off the bench.

Exactly, Melo is a vet min player for us that we want off the bench if we get a great starting wing.

How many bench guys can abuse a defender that is light in the britches. Gone are the days that Melo can abuse anyone, but there are still players he can absolutely abuse..Imagine Curry having to guard him on a switch

It’s easy to be Olympic melo when you have the best superstars on your team and going against would be G leaguers if they played in United States

I think it's a fair take, but it doesn't really say anything overall. They don't really take a strong stance one way or the other.

Seems pretty easy. Get Melo going with a post up or two, let the defense defend and get him looks in transition when he’s already seen a shot fall. Replacing Anderson, a stretch 4 who can get you a few rebounds too is an upgrade. “Olympic Melo” didn’t shoot nba 3s. I’ll take this guy confidently taking shots and hitting them, whoever he is.
