Somehow I feel this is gonna play out like the Peterson deal. A guy who nobody wanted to sign and we could have, ends up doing great after we missed the opportunity. Saints want to win a SuperBowl!
Ervin had 3 catches 35 yards. Not much of a difference. Plus, he’s a return guy as well. Not a big move at all.
I remember reading good things about Lampkin during the 2017 draft process. I can't remember where though.
I wasn't comparing Bryant to DT. Just meant we should have signed him too. They are barely paying over the league min for him. Smart move on their part.

Erwin always seemed like a reach but he seemingly had big play potential, especially as a receiving RB. Just never came to fruition here.

I don't see anything wrong with wanting him for a bargain. He has to be better than our other guys, not counting Hopkins and DT. But, mute point anyway, since it can't happen now. I don't like his immaturity anyway, or his bad vibes, but just figured he would have been another big target who might not break as easy as some of our backups.
