Its not just Acosta, he is the popular trump supporter target. He did the same to the NBC reporter that defended Acosta. Here is a reporter from NPR...
This is the most insane press conference I've ever seen on any level. This literally feels like an SNL skit. But it's real...
Jim Acosta is a buffoon who asks stupid questions, but he's a hero to the left because he annoys Trump?
He's no one's hero. He should've reframed his questions, but he didn't deserve to be chastised by Trump that way. But forget him for a second; what about the NBC reporter who defended Acosta? Will you overlook Trump's remarks there as well?
The NBC guy deserves credit for taking the wind out of Trump's sails by defending Acosta. No one's overlooking Trump's remarks. The press is important, and Trump isn't striking the right tone by belittling most of them. But I also don't have a problem with him discrediting CNN. Edit: Just to clarify my point, there's being tough on Trump and being rude. April Ryan shouting over another reporter is just unprofessional.
Just flip it around. The next Democrat now has precedent to freeze out all the news he doesn't like. See ya later fake news Fox News. So sad. All conservative outlets to the back of the room. What's good for the goose is good for the gamder. I imagine quite a bit more concern for the sanctity of the fifth estate were that to happen. Do you really think Obama never listened to a loaded question from a hostile conservative media outlet and wanted to tell the guy to shut the hell up?
Once the castigator-in-chief abandoned civility for douchebaggery he lost any expectation of the respect normally afforded a president.
Figures that the daily caller right wing blog (who wouldn't even be in a press conference if it weren't for trump) defends trump...
Interesting. We must have different perspectives on how George W. Bush was treated while in office. He was a pretty modest dude, most everyone (even on the left) sees that now, but he was a racist/fascist/war criminal such and such when he was President.
Corrected. And it's because people like you. I mean, really, idiots like you are the biggest problem in this country.
You mean cancerous liberals like myself who work their asses off to make jobs for useless dopes like yourself. Yeah, you're talking to a real job creator mr. stay at home russian
If you are posting this, you must know why this Shapiro person is calling Acosta a disgrace. Could you clarify for me please? I'm seriously curious. Seems like POTUS had a tantrum over the asylum caravan question and Trump started hurling personal insults instead of answering said question. Acosta kept on asking questions which is his job. Which part disgraced journalism?
and trump answered Acosta's question but the guy kept going. He wanted to debate Trump in the middle of the press room. Who the hell does he think he is?
