I probably went to 5 or 6 games last year and 4-5 playoff games. For at least the regular season there were plenty of empty seats at least in the lower bowl. I guess there are some companies willing to shell out good coin for people not going. The one time my company gave out tickets it was mostly the younger Asian and Indian people who went.

Denver hasn’t been to the playoffs since 2013, and they don’t feature an MVP in Harden and now another superstar in CP3...Denver is not Houston...of course their tickets will be much cheaper than Rockets tickets

they are bottom 10 in attendance as it is, so they have no business not making their tickets as cheap as possible (they have actually been last in the entire NBA in attendance 2 out of the past 3 years)

    I’ll give u their attendance ranking the past 4: 20, 30, 30, and 28

the Nuggets should be giving away their tickets for free...nobody there is going to go see them

u need to compare our ticket prices to those of the Warriors, Lakers, Celtics, Knicks, Raptors, etc...teams that are contenders and/or reside in major metropolitan areas...people need to stop bringing up places like Denver or teams like the Hawks, Magic, and Suns, etc when complaining about ticket prices

I really don’t see anything wrong with the price of Rockets tickets considering we are contenders, Houston is a major city, and the team has James Harden; 1 of the best players in the NBA...this isn’t some mediocre team led by Kevin Martin

people are really expecting lower bowl seats for $40 for some reason

The #8 rated most miserable fanbase. None other than Denver

I would add a Strip club so that Harden would never leave the gym and never have to worry about him being pregnant over the summer

    not surprised at all

if Denver was selling their tickets at the same price as the Rockets do or anywhere close they’d average like 10k fans a game...tickets are dirt cheap, the team is intriguing, and yet nobody there cares to go and see them play

if the Rockets sucked and had trouble selling tickets then they’d lower price, but for a team this good, u can usually find lower bowl tickets starting in the 60’s for most games, and tickets in the upper bowl starting at 30 something bucks...seems pretty reasonable to me...people are acting like they need a loan just to go games

u can’t get premium product and complain that they’re not charging u knockoff prices

Is that like what the Jazz have? They have this whole area above all the seats where it's standing room only and you have access to concessions and views of the court. You can buy passes to just that area. More money for Tilman, more fans at sold out games in more affordable ticket ranges, and more concessions purchased!

The reason isn't that they can't sell tickets. As tin man said, the Rockets sell out over 90% of their games.

Went to the game last night. He already replaced the mexican food stands with cadillac bar and grill.

I'd have to imagine he keeps installing his own restaurants as time goes by.

I can't wait until he installs a Golden Nugget booth where people can place prop bets as the game goes on. Corporate synergy at its best!

Improvements are good to hear. Toyota is very Plain Jane from what I seen/heard.

NFL said NRG needs upgrades before it hosts another SuperBowl.

    Keep all renovations incoming !!

I don’t get why some hate Tilman.

He’s already spending more money then Les ever did.

I always remember the mid season trade that would magically get the team under the luxury tax. It happened every year when Les was owner.

Les wasn’t a bad owner but Tilman brings new blood and energy that Les just never had.

If we get Jimmy Butler I fully expect Tilman to max him out and go for chips. I don’t think he’s in all the financial trouble like some think. The stuff he’s trying to do, all wealthy ppl do he’s no different in that regard.

I also think the seats closest to the court should be even closer to increase fan engagement. Relative to other arenas, it looks like fans sit a bit further out at Toyota Center...

You know what's hilarious about the photo with Les and the true trophies?

He really still has those two trophies

    It doesn't reside in Houston

$5 says we find Steve Francis living in a crawl space the basement. As he is escorted out, he screams "this is my house! I built it, brick by brick!".

I kid, I kid... at least I hope I do.
