Columbia blue, red and white would be an instant "Houston" identifier to folks outside of the city limits if done properly. Incorporating "Luv Ya" in there somewhere would be awesome.

Someone from the organization should do a poll of people around the country to determine what is most recognizable about Houston. I'd guess NASA would be the winner. Chinese letters have nothing to do with Houston. It's just pure marketing.

Rockets jersey are laughably bad. I am sure the organization will continue to find pollsters that say otherwise. It shouldn't be surprising that their "special" jerseys also suck. They are the "will they win a championship in my lifetime" question for the team... since they've already won a championship in my lifetime.

I'm riding with @Deuce on this one. Everyone is in agreement that the black jersey is good. If you want it to be the city jersey, we will never see them wear it. About the Chinese jerseys. I never liked ours. I like Golden State Warriors, I like the Raptors, and Wizards. These, I actually like. Ours always sucked. They should allow us to have a fifth jersey. You either pick Chinese New Years, or Hispanic heritage, and put "LOS" on everything. You guys get too uptight over branding names.
