Maybe it's time for the return of the prodigal JVG .

He's spent enough time watching the game from afar to modernize his approach. The perfect blend of old school and new school

The Rockets looked just awful. It can't be sugar-coated. It is all up from here. If they start off losing a long string of games it will be Panic City.

We also learned Capella can not be trusted with a bottle of bleach.

Hey, I would be thrilled. I said much the same thing somewhere around here several days ago. Heck, he lives in Houston with his family, and he has to be yearning to get back into the league after so long away from the action. Sitting between a couple of talking heads covering a game is hardly like sitting between two future Hall of Fame guards on the bench, talking defense. The Rockets would be a great fit, in my opinion. Make him an Associate Head Coach, or whatever seems to fit. @Clutch would have more fun than an administrator (with a press pass!) should be allowed to have asking questions of Jeff during press conferences, and I think our defense would improve.

Lineup is extremely small, feels like 4 guards and one center.

As far as the Warriors go... we will have more clarity on our roster after the trade deadline and if have the lineup to contend.

Man , it would be awesome and a great story. But , I would actually be very concerned if we actually did it . How many times have you heard of a team bringing on a coach after the season has started ??

We learned Harden getting back into playing shape.

We learned the D is lacking.

If nene is hurt for game 1, like....first of all how... but shouldn’t that be even more reason to baptize the kid in fire? He couldn’t have been less effective than the veterans who were getting blown out from the literal jump ball. I was begging for a time out like 3 possessions in.

I don’t buy it. Self limiting is what the Texans do. Let the kids play and figure it out now.

yeah im not sure what the issue is with nene. not much talk or update related to him either

but the other guys were in camp competing for that "backup 5" spot. I mean if they don't get a chance, what exactly is the point right

    Agreed.

Plus , its like we are forgetting how good Harden can make players look. He made Tarick black, Joey Dorsey , Omer Asik , Greg Smith and many others look totally serviceable

If Rockets go 81-1... no one will move on from that one loss.

    The season is over
Paul and Capela got the money and relax.
Carmelo and MCW are a problem.
    Ennis is not Ariza.
Jeff Bzdelik is gone and with him our defesive.
    Harden is frustrated.

It's time to trade PJ "MissLayups" Tucker/Eric "Brick 3s" Gordon and Two - 1st round picks for Jimmy Butler.

Jimmy alone will help our defense and loss of Trevor Ariza. There won't be anymore media narrative about how our defense sucks anymore
