By the end of the season, Capela will be mentioned right along with Harden and CP3 as part of our 'big 3.'

He has consistently stepped up every season. It has been amazing to watch him grow, literally and figuratively. Capela now has a legit NBA body, perfectly suited for the current NBA and specifically our high speed system.

He now has a year of CP3 under the belt. He and Harden have cemented their connection. Prepare for more alley-oops than ever, especially with Melo now spacing the floor even more.

His post game is simple but effective, he has a great touch on those little hook shots around the basket.

He has become a legit stopper around the basket. He dominated Gobert and the Jazz in the playoffs. Look for career highs in blocks and rebounds.

Look forward to seeing him throw it down in his first all-star game (deserved it last year too).

It's gonna be a great season! Go Rockets!

and i hope we keep him on the floor in more games....

I think he is quick enough to be a good defender - even when switches are forced...
I have no fear of CC getting switched onto Curry or KD defensively and I dont know why people make such a big deal about it... sure, Curry gets some easy layups when he uses the rim to screen CC - but dude gets awfully close at swatting that stuff...

If CC gets his free throws at a decent level (he's improved every year) then he could def expand his role and not be relegated to the bench during crunch times...

Agreed. He'll be great for the Bucks alongside Giannis when we trade him for Thon Maker.

    Clint doesn’t have superstar potential.

    Fringe all star at best.

Great big man for our system but his offensive game is too weak to ever be considered superstar status.

None of my statements are a knock on him. He’s damn good.

then I'd say it won't happen. I'll be realistic and hope for an actual all star

Fair enough. It's a bold prediction, but those are the only kinds worth making.

Most of that recognition will come from the defensive side because some of his offense is going mellow.

Capela doesn't have anything about his game that'll ever develop him into a superstar talent. He's an all-star level center but that's about it. He'd have to have Hakeem-level defense to compensate for his limited offensive game.

And I was probably the first one on this board up on Capela's jock when we drafted him

He’d gave to make a massive leap in order for that to happen

I don't think he's that guy. He'd have to be on the level of Anthony Davis and I don't think Capela is capable.

    Yes, he will be.

In the playoffs you will know who is young and who is old.

Melo is a superstar, so is Paul.

Are 2 superstars look younger in the playoffs?
