7 sacks on a pretty mobile QB. 3.0 YPC for all RBs. No scoring at the 1 yard line. Very solid!!

Bill Obrien: "That's not my job." "I can't put a finger on it." "We're going to fix mistakes."

What's the record for most sacks allowed in a season? Our oline aiming to beat it.

They didn’t re-sign Brooks or Jones.
    Newton tore up his knees.
Brown wanted more money and got himself traded out of here.

Meanwhile the replacements have mostly been busts. Allen was trash, Martin has been a JAG, Davenport’s ceiling is swing tackle, Kelemete has been below average, Henderson got hurt, Rankin was hurt all offseason and isn’t ready to contribute.

Fulton has been the only pickup that has performed well.

It’s easy to see how we got here...unfortunately it’s going to take at least 2 years to fix especially since good OL don’t usually hit free agency.

what sucks is that those guys, brooks and jones were let go because they didn't fit the uggs offense. I'm afraid we will never have a compatible line due to BoB chasing highs from 2007. I said it in the game thread but Mr. Mcnair has to hire an offensive coordinator and line coach for B.O.B.

Just wait until Watson gets knocked out for the year(you know it will happen). The Texans will bring in Weeden, or some other unfortunate soul, and we will really see how bad the line is.

I don't even think TJ Yates would pick up the phone if the Texans call.

U figured the Texans learned during their early years of carr getting destroyed that they invest in an oline. This olin3 cant stop anything.

Wrong. They left because they couldn’t afford them or they were just cheap. Stop spreading false narratives.

Texans have always had a history of not re-signing their own drafted players.

Really sucks that B.O.B. and the O-Line may hold back the single most talented and exciting Texans team we have witnessed.

    Mario Williams
    A.J. bouye
    Connor barwin
    Glover Quinn
    Brandon brooks

All those players you mentioned were signed for cheap. Besides, nobody wants those players. And had mercilus not signed an extension before his 10 plus sack season, there’s no way the Texans would’ve been able to re-sign him.

At the end of the day, I don’t blame the Texans. You’re not going to be able to retain all your players.

JJ Watt wasn't cheap. Hopkins wasn't cheap. Some draft picks were retained some weren't. Every team is going to retain some free agents and lose others. Nothing to see here.

At this rate, will Watson survive the season?

At a lower rate, Watson won't survive the season.

I can't imagine how he could. He is already really beat up. I feel for him, his talent is being wasted here. Without any real protection, his career could be in jeopardy.

We need Mathews, Munchak, Steinkhuler to become 23 again.

And if our owner wasn't such a racist ASSHAT we would still have Brown.

it wouldn't kill to learn to pick up a blitz either. It was predictable that on 3rd down buffalo was sending the house. It was buddy ryan-esque, meanwhile watson carried on still wanting the big play, no hot routes to back them off.
That's all on coaching especially if you're a 'whisperer'. nothing wrong with a little dink and dunk. Even the snaps from shotgun were low, that has been happening too often the past 3 weeks. the he "holds" on to ball too long people have to realize that there is a reason this is happening and it's a snowball effect. when you get hit, you start seeing everything differently. Hope he doesn't get david carr syndrome
nfl.com has the every sack on watson package,
