That was the big difference last year outside of CP3 going down.

Yes, him and if we somehow keep Tucker would destroy/annoy Durant and Green.

Besides LeBron and Kawhi - Jimmy Butler would be your next best defender against KD. I would also pick PG13 but he now has to shoulder the offensive load for OKC.

Jimmy Butler would easily be the best perimeter defender we’ve had since Harden’s been here...

Compared to what, playing Michael Carter-Williams against Durant?

Technically, the Earth rotates and makes it look like the sun is rising, but yeah, Butler would help on Durant.

Yes of course but giving up Pops Junior and EG seems too much.

Durant wasnt the one that was killing us last year. KD probably have 1 good game against us. Klay was the one that was killing us. It's super easy to stop durant, stay close to him and make him shoot and if he miss, he miss. Only thing he does anyways. To me durant is super overated. This is why he cant win anything without GSWs

Klay Thompson is the most overrated damn player in the NBA. I despise Kevin Durant but I can at least acknowledge his talent and his freaky lengthy arms.

Klay Thompson was not "the one that was killing us". He's the beneficiary of his teammates and his system.

    G1 - Durant (37, +11), Thompson (28, +13), Curry (18, +5)
    G2 - Durant (38, -28), Thompson (8, -24), Curry (16, -20)
    G3 - Durant (25, +27), Thompson (13, +21), Curry (35, +24)
    G4 - Durant (27, +2), Thompson (10, +7), Curry (28, +10)
    G5 - Durant (29, +2), Thompson (23, -9), Curry (22, -9)
    G6 - Durant (23, +13), Thompson (35, +32), Curry (29, +33)
    G7 - Durant (34, +10), Thompson (19, 0), Curry (27, +13)

People just looking at it defensively, but Butler would mean It’d be harder for THEM to take plays off defensively.

Well, you beat me to it. I couldn't type fast enough... It's a short memory to think Durant didn't kill us. We simply couldn't guard him. I think Butler would be better on Durant than Ariza. At least he would also be a threat to score as well.

This is the NBA, we only care about the glitz and glamor Warriors!
