This is how you execute in the red zone. Go where or do what the defense doesn't expect... attack the weakness in the defense!

The defense will never expect a shotgun QB sneak.

Lol if Deshaun would have ran straight down the middle out of the shotgun and dived maybe Brandon Weeden would be starting today lol

Joe Webb is no Taysom Hill by any means but maybe throwing him at the goal line out wide or something would confuse the defense..Something. Payton is a good guy to take notes from

If Bill O’Brien won’t listen and can’t read or write, how do you expect him to take notes.

    O’Brien ain’t changing.

Honestly, if Deshaun wouldve quick snapped it when he ran up to the line, instead of stalling and letting phallus shift to the gap, close and shoot it, it wouldve worked.

But the plan was to go to Blue first, eight? Then run if he's covered.

And if Watson had gone to his left, he could of practically walked in.

It amazes me how Bill can make this look so difficult. How can our GM keep allowing this and not hire a real offensive coordinator. I bet there are a few Texas high school coaches who could be doing a better job scoring in the red zone!!! First and one run run run. Just get your RB to plow ahead and power it in. First and 10, get 4 receivers in the end zone, quick step back and throw to your target away from the defender.

Maybe they all need to study game tapes of the teams who are scoring twice as much as us in the red zone!
Bill is too bull headed though. Didn't some people on here used to praise his "complicated offense"?

Complicated only because it is a "mess of plays" that make no sense or fool nobody the way he uses them maybe. Only ones fooled by Bill's ability to lead us and make us a dominating red zone offense are McNair and Brian Gaine so far.

It was 3rd and goal at the one. We were in shotgun, so it might've was supposed to go to blue. So if deshaun called the audible, then that's on him entirely for not quick snapping and diving in the end zone when that gap was huge but instead waited and let the defense close the gap.

Exactly, BOB sucked a lot and could have done better, but some of those goal line stands were on execution, not him.

Maybe they should have kept their fullback after all.
