The few games of Radja that I saw, I remember him just bricking a ton of shots. The boston commentator said his name so forcefully you could tell he wanted those shots to go down so badly. But they were bricks none the less. Just looked him up...dude played 4 years...had one 20/10 season (pretty much) @ 50% shooting. That's about it. If he made the HOF then pretty much any allstar and alternate should be in as well.

Its called Basketball Hall of Fame not NBA’s Hall of Fame. He got in because of the International Committee.

When I used to play NBA Live 95 back then, I'd sometimes play as the Celtics and pretend he was Larry Bird. He kind of sucked at the 3-ball, though.

That's all I remember about him.

    Basketball is global.

Lol, I’m not European. Regarding Spanoulis, you have to be retired from play for at least three years before getting nominated. Last time I checked, he is still playing.

These Euros playing their career at a lower level of competition being in the HOF ahead of NBA all-stars is probably the biggest reason the basketball HOF is a joke.

The NBA really needs a proper Hall of Fame.

wrt Dino, this a bs reason.

He wasn't the best player on those EuroLeague teams nor the Croatia teams. His Euroleague team was already the defending champion, when he arrived there. Kukoc was there, too. And Kukoc plus Drazen Petrovic were on his national teams.

I'm fine when HOFers get credit for the Euroleague play and national play when they didn't have complete careers in the NBA. I don't think lack of a full, NBA career should be penalized. BUT, if they do come to the NBA *in their prime* (Dino played in the NBA at age 26-29) and reveal themselves as a non-factor to winning, then you really need to reevaluate their Euroleague accolades.

Looks like they are simply rewarding a three-peat dynasty Euroleague Team ('89-91) and the Croatia team of (Kukoc, Drazen and Dino), by putting in all notable names. But that doesn't mean that once a player proves to be a scrub in the NBA in their absolute prime years, they should make HOF, just because it's global. Clearly, Kukoc and Drazen are leaps and bounds better than Dino, as proven when they all played in the NBA.

Complete and utter scrub is probably a bit strong.

I wouldn't put him in the HOF, but career averages of 16.7 points and 8.4 rebounds is a very solid NBA starter. Luis Scola in his prime is a pretty good comp for the type of player he was.

I’m not defending the criteria, it’s just what’s literally been awarded to him. I don’t know enough about Croatian basketball to argue one way or the other.

Context matters though. Becoming good in Croatia back then was pretty hard, and I’m sure they took that into account as well.

I don’t think his NBA performance is why he’s in, but Hall of face choices baffle me every year, so this is more of the same.

Ok, I edited my comments to being a non-factor to winning. Scola was never on a losing team in his prime. Dino was never on a winning team.

Scola was a starter on 4 different 50-win teams, at least one on three different franchises.
