Donaldson traded, team has not been announced yet. Believe it's the Indians from what I've heard.
Edit: And yes, it is the Indians.

This is why I said Donaldson would have been the move to make. Let Correra set a couple games maybe dl him minor league rehab. Dude is flat dead at the plate

Still have 45 minutes to get Smoak, Jones, or Granderson.

Clock strikes 12 (in New York) and the deadline has passed. We stood pat. Let's just hope tomorrow's reinforcements deliver. If they do, it won't matter. Just gotta hang on as we enter the home stretch.
Good night. Tomorrow is another day, another month, hopefully our guys who are in slumps refresh as we turn the page on the calendars. Time to shake off the loss (and Blummer's taunting tweets about 2005) and salvage a split!
And, of course, Go Mariners, beat the A's! (Of course, the A's retake the lead after our game ended).

Announced after the deadline: Yankees get Hechavarria from the Pirates. Second time he's been traded, as Pittsburgh previously traded for him from Tampa.

Pirates **** the bed. Buyers at the July deadline getting Archer, sucked in August and quickly became minor sellers to try and restock.

I believe they traded Freese too.

Yep, Freese to the Dodgers. Seems like the Dodgers have an infinite amount of roster spots LOL. Pirates really screwed it up this year at the deadlines. Also, the Cardinals having a red hot August was not something they saw coming. If we somehow could have gotten Dickerson from them that would have been AWESOME, but c'est la vie. Looking forward to seeing Tucker back up with us, whenever that will be.
