No, Melo won't solve the lower bowl attendance and crowd energy issues. The team was out there winning 65 games and the stands were still half empty at the start games. So shameful.

This wont be popular on this site but if we are being objective Houston is not a great sports town. Astros have never been a high draw, not even last season. Oilers left and we know about the lower bowl isssues. Some of it is geographically reasons but honestly it's embarrassing considering we are both biggest city in the country that doesn't have two NFL or MLB teams to split attendance.

IF THE ROCKETS WERE IN THE NORTHEAST; NY, PHI, MIL, BOS, ETC. EVERY GAME WOULD BE SOLDOUT. Houston WAS a Basketball City! I remember the days of Soldout Arenas at Hofinez, Barnett, Delmar for UH and High School games, alike; UH, Kashmere, Yates, Wheatley, Willowridge, etc. And looking back at Clutchcity, in 94' & 95' I remember the Summit being packed and the lower level fan's going crazy.
