Not sure why a guy decided to follow a career path that included lots of travel while having issues with ...traveling. If he was Lebron James or Michael Jordan people would probably go out if their way for him and make exceptions...but when you’re Royce White you’re easily replaceable by more dependable players. Dude needs to move on in life...quit trying to fit a square peg into a round hole.

If you can’t get him to show up to play basketball consistently, do you really think he’ll consistently do any job?

    Royce White the accountant.,

Royce White and Larry Brown would have been an interesting pair.

Basketball gave him money and attention, and a platform for him to be a martyr for his twisted causes.
If so, Lets hope they don't inherit anything from him. Like, non.

While I can appreciate a person being open about a disease and anxiety can be a serious issue, I have no doubt this guy has a certain personality disorder with a narcissistic element too it and a clear craving for attention and me first mentality that just makes it impossible to deal with the guy. I also think it might simply be the guy talked himself into a disease, truly believing he has something when it's all in his head.

It's not your right to play basketball for a living, Royce. It's a privilege. At a certain point in time, responsibility for your mental state has to fall on YOUR shoulders.....not your employer's. There's absolutely nothing wrong with taking time away from the game, or flat out retiring if it means you're in a healthy state of mind.
