Lol if the difference between getting Kawhi to sign or not is solely dependent on comments made by Bruce Bowen then there are more glaring issues that needs to be resolved first.

    Oh no, not Bruce Bowen!

(The Draymond Green of the 2000's; except with higher intelligence and less mouth-breathing).

Bowen really kicked his chances of having a long broadcasting career in the face here. Way to die on that hill, Bruce. Dumbass.

LOL Protecting a player who's not even on your team (yet).

Meanwhile, Bill Worrell thinks Robert 'Tractor' Traylor is rusting away somewhere...

Never fear. Brucie can always get a sports broadcasting gig in S.A.

Why was he even a Clippers analyst?

He never played in LAC or LAL and had no NBA ties to LA

I think Clippers just needed a reason to fire him. Bruce Bowen was a TERRIBLE tv analyst. The few times, I watched the Clippers last season, this dude bored me to tears. I remember the "Me Oh My!" guy being paired up with a more enthusiastic partner, and even though I'm no fan of the Clippers, they were fun to listen to. Curious why they hired Bowen in the first place.

    Bruce Bowen really really sucked.

Ralph Lawler is great for the Clippers. Yeah, Bowen sucked. Lawler deserves better. #ItsTheLaw

He ran his mouth without any facts. It's one thing for ESPN screaming heads to do it......they have no affiliation with a team. But Bruce was employed by an NBA franchise. You have to have more sense than to bad-mouth a player like that. It's unprofessional, but not surprising from a dirty ankle-twisting, face-kicking punk like Bowen.

What did he say about Kawhi that merited releasing him? The Clips just lent an air of drama that they didn't need citing Kawhi as the reason, they should have just released him and ended it there like they did with Mike Smith who worked for them for 10 years and didn't have his contract renewed. I don't think they gave a reason as to why they were parting company with Smith, happens all the time when contracts come up and don't get renewed with broadcasters.

My first thought was "isn't he the Spurs color guy"?

Then I remembered that's Sean Elliot. What a snooze fest that guy is.

My first thought was, "wow, he said color guy?" Why can't he just be an analyst? Why does he have to be a "color?"

DUDE, they prefer to be called African American!

Didn't someone get fired for calling an African American a "colored" analyst recently?
