I heard on the radio today that the pain he is having is not the lower back, but the middle back. Said it's hard to exercise the muscles in that part of the back.
Carlos Correa suffered a injury on a swing, he was rubbing his left rib cage after the swing. Middle back injury also.

Eric Anthony was such a HUGE disappointment in 1993. I thought he would hit 35 homers and knock in over 100 batting behind Biggio and Bagwell that year. He was awful.
I was at the game when he want massive upper deck, went back and sat in the seat (they put a star on it), longest HR in Dome history at the time, Piazza's might have beaten it.
Team hopes Correa begins minor league games by late this week with a return to the majors @Giants or beginning the next home stand.
Yeah dropped out of Sharpstown high school. Had he not had so many home issues he likely would have been a top pick in the draft. He also was rushed to the big leagues. Ultimately I think there was too much lost time developing a long the way. I have wondered what he was up to now but I haven’t heard anything in years. As far as I know he has nothing to do with baseball.
Really solid article on Eric Anthony here: http://articles.latimes.com/1989-08-02/sports/sp-445_1_eric-anthony Seems like he was the Jason Lane of the 80s for the Astros.
The trade did not disappoint but his performance did. It was extremely disappointing at the time and hindered that ‘93 team along with Drabek and swindell sucking. As good as Hampton was , we never won anything with him. So yes, without going needlessly forward into who he was traded for, his performance was a huge disappointment. He tore it up at AAA and then had a very promising partial season for us in ‘92. He was given right field and the cleanup spot because there were clearly others expecting good things from him. We always had trouble at the cleanup spot behind bags and he was supposed to fix that. Disappointment is the word that fits best.
Small upside to Correa and Altuve being out is Tyler White getting time. I am optimistic about him and think he is a better hitter than Gattis, Gurriel, Reddick, and whoever is at catcher. Really like his approach and his potential to both get on base and hit for power. His defensive versatility is also underrated. He’s not a good defender anywhere, but he is passable at every infield position and that has a lot of value. He will be out of options next season and I hope he gets a chance to be on the roster all of next year.
