Jeremy Lin traded to Hawks

Made costly errors in the Blazer series.
Got booted by us. Gave up a pick to get rid of him.
Got booted by the Lakers.
Charlotte made no effort to keep him.
Signed with the Nets in a hurry just so that he could finally get his starting spot back somewhere.
Was the PG for the worst team in the league on the Nets.
Was injured all last season and has not played since then.
Nets don't want anything to do with him.
Just got traded by a tanking team to another tanking team.

Yeah, let's bring this guy on to backup one of the best guards in the league on a 65 win team that came close to dethroning the Warriors.

Jeremy Lin against the Warriors in the playoffs...what could possibly go wrong?? lol..

All the while when we have two of the best ball decision makers in the NBA in Paul and Harden.

Also, Lin has already shown he has a hard time adapting to Harden.

Also, we have other players that can play at the guard spot (Gordon and Green).

Also, we already got MCW to be a whipping boy.

And if you have been playing any attention to the Rockets off season....WHY WOULDN'T YOU WANT MELTON TO GET THOSE MINUTES???...a young promising player that can get some time and experience and possibly play dividends down the road??

Not to mention, if the reports are true that Rockets might be the team to get Melo once a buyout is reached, then you want to add Lin to the Melo mix???

LOL Instead of taking the Faried deal on their own and getting a 1st they sold their capspace for nothing so the Nets would get the 1st.

I somewhat agree, but they plan on keeping Lin. Schroeder has been on the trading block for awhile now.

 

The Hawks are keeping Lin so they can trade Schroder.

 

Jose Calderon is on his 8th team since 2013 (5 years).

 

Schroeder is possibly getting deported after the felony accusations. So they have to give even more value away to get some team to take him.
