    Wow, you have to reserve crow ahead of time now a days?

    Is this like one of those brunch places? Do I have to wear a Jacket to be seated? I don't want my crow to be cold.

    I have ultimate respect for legitimate insiders such as cyberx, ch44, codman etc. But Plowman is no insider lol

    He didnt hint at it... he straight up started a thread and asked what we felt the odds were of acquiring Melo + either Kawhi, Love or Butler... the results were not optimistic... then the next day started this thread offering to serve up crow...

    I like Plow most of the tme... seems like a good guy and all... but my bs radar is goin off something fierce... lol

    Even if he is right, "we will get one of Kawhi, Butler, or Love" is like one of those bad sweepstakes deals that promises "you will win one of a million dollars, a trip around the world, or a toaster oven"

    When I see Plow post something like this, my anticipation is something like what I posted in the Random Trade Thread (see below). What Plow, Cyber, Cod or any of our contributors can't know is if what is being discussed actually happens. Anyone with inside knowledge HAS TO PROTECT their sources. If your sources get burned, then you're screwed x1000. You've lost your info (possibly a friend) and then CF crucifies you. If you don't want to believe, just ignore the thread or poster. No need to spread hate in a board that really has become legendary for breaking news.

    How about this deal...

    ATL IN: Ryan Anderson/PF, HOU 1st 2019, HOU 2nd 2020
    MIN IN: Kent Bazemore SG/SF, Eric Gordon, HOU 1st 2021 (Top 10 protected)
    HOU IN: Jimmy Butler SG/SF, Gorgui Dieng C
    Works in Trade Machine for what that's worth

    We give up Albatross Anderson, 3 picks and take on Dieng's contract, but get Jimmy B in return and have a solid back-up center.

    If we still sign Melo, this could be an incredible team.

    That looks like a roster that can compete with all comers, but also has some youth at the bottom to develop.

    Typical fan trade, Rox dumps albatross contract and gets an allstar all for the low low price of 3 (low) first round picks. Your trade proposal isn't even legal since teams can't trade 2 first round picks consecutively.

    Meanwhile, in the real world Denver had to trade Arthur and 2 picks just to dump Faried's deal when Faried himself is a much better player than Anderson and his deal is expiring.
