He's been injured the last 2 years. You are overpaid when you can't stay on the court. When he has played he's been somewhat worth his contract.
I believe most people see it a different way. Injuries are an unfortunate situation. Ryan Anderson, is overpaid, even if he was healthy to play all 82 games. Joakim Noah. Tristan Thompson. Evan Turner. Gordon Hayward, Jeremy Lin, nah. Nobody batted an eye when they signed for the amount.
I’ll take Fatboy. He is where he is supposed to be defensively, he gets game pace and does what he is supposed to do.
This. He has serious self esteem issues and adequacy issues. He is a coward afraid of physical confrontation and knows it, and loathes himself as a result. He has a fear of success.
So if Harden gets injured a year he's suddenly overpaid? The 3 closest paid PG to Lin are Brandon Knight, Patty Mills and Jordan Clarkson. Lin is arguably better than all of them and if you look at 16-17 stats, they all averaged less points and assists than Lin. So no Lin's not overpaid at all.
I'm here for the... LOF brigade vs. @tinman & @Zboy vs. Burt Steele & Potato Head... ... Hell-in-a-Thread match.
What do you guys think Lin will say to Westbrook to earn respect. And how do you think Westbrook will react? Looking forward to the next graduation speech to hear all the details!
I am honestly not sure who would be more insulted between the two. Lin or Melo, for being traded for each other?
If James Harden gets hurt 2 years in a row yes he's overpaid. Injury risk is always a factor in determining whether or not a contract is worthwhile. If Chris Paul was an iron man and never missed a game, no one would really be complaining about his $40 million deal.
