Harden plus role players has gotten us 55 and 56 wins...

Harden, CP3, and Capela can get a 2nd seed, stop it...

you’re forgetting that the gap between Hou, GS, and the rest of the West was huge last season...the gap hasn’t closed to the point where we can’t get a top 2 seed

You could do that, or you could just sit and wait. Ennis becomes your starter in the meantime. I might be ok with that.

Personally I'd rather wait for the big fish and it never come rather than trade for Bazemore. I don't think we are a Bazemore away from competing with GSW, so whatever assets we would have to give up in the Anderson-Bazemore swap could be better saved for something bigger. It would have to be very minimal compensation for me to do the trade (i.e. no first round picks).

If we sign Melo, we need to redesign our uniform to include a hoodie. Do they allow hoodie uniform?

OKC will not just hand Melo to the market, they're trying to get something instead of just letting him go for nothing.

Just consider that Anderson value at this point has no upside, meanwhile Bazemore playing here might actually boost his value and become a good expiring asset, if we can swap Anderson for him with minor assets like Deuce said (2nd rounders, cash, Nanu), i think that's something we can't pass at this point, if we're talking about 1st rounder i think we all agree that pretty much it wouldn't be worth it.

Actually looking at this video look at the cohesion between CP3, Harden and Melo vs Russ just exhibiting tunnel vision.

CP3, Harden and Melo are all moving the rock, hitting each other for wide open 3s and Russ just doing what he does.

Man I can't wait to see these 3 guys, the key is they can all shoot so they don't all need the ball unlike Russ who's not a good outside shooter.

What's the benefit to the Nets of receiving and buying out Melo instead of just buying out Lin?

They’ll probably get a pick out of the Melo deal

No, but will allow trade if getting bought out. He waived his trade bonus/kicker.
