Gosh, I wonder if Daryl Morey is waiting on the sidewalk outside of the Ennis Industries Tower awaiting The Decision.

I prefer Treveon Graham to James Ennis. I see him more coordinated, methodical and smarter than Ennis. Ennis is bigger and longer, but I see him too rough in his movements, worst fundamentally, and with slower feet.

Mbah a Moute is overall a much better player than Ennis. Graham is intriguing to me, he's young but looks like a solid NBA player, not flashy but solid and under control at both sides.

    This.

I was hoping we went after Graham. But James Ennis "The Menace" is a much cooler nickname than Treveon "Teddy" Graham.

Why is HBO airing a behind-the-scenes series on James Ennis III's free agency decision? Wtf?

Ennis would be a really solid get for us. Not a game changer, but he is athletic and long enough to be a quality switch everything defender and his 3 ball is good enough that defenses can't ignore him. I think he would be a quality rotation player which we are in desperate need of.

Wow, much better finisher in the paint than Luc and Melo. Good at corner 3's (at least one corner) and decent midrange as well. Can you post Ariza's heatmap from last season? I assume his paint numbers are on par with Melo's.

Nevermind, found it. Better at finishing last year and obviously great at corner 3's. I think the addition of Ennis and Melo would be solid. Ennis could be more of a corner 3 shooter and driver/finisher in the lane, while Melo can be at the top waiting for a kick out or shooting mid range jumpers at 40% (not elite but solid especially when we go on cold spells from 3). Would be nice to have someone besides Paul that can hit a midrange jump shot when everything else is failing.

I'm down. Fizdale was starting him from beginning of the season. Then JBB took over. I trust Fizdale. They had that 5-1 start before Conley went down....including wins for GSW, HOU (twice) and NOP.

    Ennis the Menace

Another curious note, Ennis started for Memphis in 3 of the 4 early meetings we had with them, last year, and was primary defender on Harden. Since Morey says Harden and Paul have say in pickups, I wonder if Harden is pushing for Ennis based upon respect for his defense from his 3 starts against him last year.

OK, you have Melo hot from one corner, Stedd, and Ennis hot from the other.

    Perfect! ;)

(And Ariza money from both corners - argh!!)

That moment when you dig deep into the stats and see how James Ennis is basically Mbah Moute and rates similarly to Aminu... I hope we land him for MIN.

Sign Melo to MLE or whatever and lock up Melton.
