Remember when Eric started whining about bigger role? Maybe our staff figured that they will let Ariza and Luc go and move Gordon to the s5 along with Carmelo. And then bring Gerald with Ryan from the bench? Maybe that's a new offensive math?

Gordon didn’t whine for a bigger role. He whines about the play style. Too much isolation.

If you think about it we would have 4 guys behind the 3pt line spacing the floor with Capela serving as an anchor. Everybody from that lineup can board above the average and both EG and JH showed in playoffs they can hang with forwards on the switches. We would blast with 3 guards on fastbreaks too

It's not a bad idea if and only if Melo comes off the bench as the 6th man

    Capela
    PJ
    Harden
    Gordon
    Paul

That's 4 above average defenders on the court with Harden. Then you switch Harden out for Melo and maybe put Melton at the 2 so you still have that same defense/offense dynamic?

Or Paul rests, bring in Melo and you slide the line down. But the big lol right now is, of course, Melo coming off the bench.

You know. We could start him and sub him out at 4 minutes just for ego purposes ;) We could then rotate hard, we don't need to put on milleage on CP and EG anyway

    Lol yea that'd be funny.

I think in order to maximize what Melo can give you though you're going to have to maybe have 4-6 minutes of Melo ball peppered into the game where it's just ISO Melo and surround him with your hustle guys.

    PJ
    Melo
