Would rather have shorty Kemp at 1b than white. White, davis and reed are 3 guys I dont ever see contributing to a champ quality team.

Oh, hush. He's been one of the best hitters in the league for five damn years.

We were bound to lose one to the A's.

Come on Hinch put a better lineup out there. 5 on down were absolutely garbage. Don't Harris or Peacock pitch tomorrow.

    Solid AB by Gattis.

Moral of this story: don't get into the back of the A's bullpen. You might want to score some runs earlier in the game.

    I miss Correa.

Yuli and Correa in the line up with Stassi and Kemp would easily win that game .

The back end of their pen is elite. They’re a good team. Would have liked to see Yuli get the start.. All star break in a week

I mean think of the bats you are replacing with those 4. You would think that would generate far more baserunners.

Yuli would not of hit into a double play like Altuve. He's more clutch than Altuve.

So you know with complete certainty that Yuli, who is part of a team that leads the league in double plays, absolutely would not have grounded into a double play?

Yep he's too clutch. Yuli is on a different planet.

Far more. White and Fedo are really the only 2 guys you're talking about. Sometimes guys get a day off, it's a long season.

The lineup right now is already weakened without Correa. Along with trying to break in Tucker and going through his growing pains, not having Yuli play tonight, White, Marwin, and the back up catcher in the lineup etc., I'm not surprised by tonight's outcome.

He’s grounded into 15 double plays this season. We all know that Yuli is clutch, but that doesn’t mean he’s magically immune from grounding into a double play in a clutch situation.

You'll notice that Kemp doesn't get much run in CF when there is a fly ball pitcher on the mound. Tucker is in LF until the end of the month. Yuli and Stassi got a day off.
