I can tell you with 100% certainty he is not picking houston. Its ok to let the dream go now. It stings but its better this way.
Was there smoke when he chose to go to Miami???? It wasn't until the days leading up to the decision that anyone even knew he was going there.
Was there smoke about him heading back to Cleveland in 2014? The media is acting like they got the drop on Lebron this summer when they were pretty much clueless during his last 2 free agencies.
Yes there was. There was a lot of speculation about him going back to Cleveland or staying in Miami. In 2010, predictions were all over the place, but Stephen A talked about the Miami thing. Since we have heard pretty much nothing from anyone on Houston, it doesn’t look good.
Yes. https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/report-lebron-james-agent-pushing-for-return-to-cleveland/ http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/basketball/lawrence-lebron-facing-big-decision-article-1.1859877 https://cleveland.cbslocal.com/2014...lebron-james-is-100-coming-back-to-cleveland/ http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...en-shirts-anticipating-lebrons-return-to-cavs https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2014/jul/10/lebron-james-cleveland-miami-carmelo-anthony https://nba.nbcsports.com/2014/07/0...ing-his-wife-want-him-to-sign-with-cavaliers/ https://deadspin.com/all-the-internet-clues-that-point-to-lebron-going-to-cl-1602553351 Here's rumors of him going to the Heat in 2010 http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...e-superteam-of-d-wade-lebron-james-chris-bosh https://www.cbsnews.com/news/is-lebron-james-joining-dwyane-wade-in-miami/
Reminds me of dumping your SO, but they go around telling everyone it’s mutual. SA wouldn’t talk to us, it’s ok. We are looking for long term growth anyways.
the earliest article u posted about his 2014 free agency and the Cavs is July 7th well after free agency has already started Did the media have any clue about Lebron going back to the Cavs a week or 2 before free agency had even started? SAS gets so much praise for calling Bron to Miami back in 2010 because he was 1 of the very few who did...I remember most of the media talking about the Knicks, Bulls, etc
At this point, I dont know if we can blame Morey if he cant pull off something big. This whole situation is a mess.
Nope. The Rockets actually were announced as a team that would get a meeting with Rich Paul at the time. Ultimately none of those meetings ever took place. I remember that free agency well. A lot of the story was that he was staying in Miami, they were allowing Riley a chance to upgrade the roster before he'd announce, etc. Interestingly enough, Chris Sheridan did get the Lebron story right last time and used similar language. He said Lebron was "100%" going back to Cleveland. He even said the story would be up the next day and it was. Maybe he has a connection to Lee Jenkins?
