Should Morey focus on Paul George rather than LeBron?

Reports are claiming that LBJ will give CLE an answer as soon as Wednesday on his future with the team. Like I said, if I’m HOU and LBJ nor PG13 have an answer for me before July 1st than I’m finding another star that is more realistic such as Demarcus Cousins. I’m trading Anderson and Capela, resigning Ariza, LRMM, Green, and Johnson. And going after DeAndre Jordon for the cheap ($10 mill). That gives me a competitive roster of:

Will cousins be fit enough to start the season? Achilles injuries usually take atleast 12 months to recover from.

Here is my theory. PG and Lebron are basically tied together if Lebron isn't coming to rox. Then no way we will get PG.

No way if Lebron is coming to rox and yet PG goes to LA. Vice versa, Lebron isn't going to LA if PG not coming.

Morey should focus on Aaron Gordon, he would be a great replacement if we lose Ariza, Luc, and/or Capela. CP3, Harden, PJ, AG, and EG. We would give the Warriors more than they could handle. He's young and then another year of competing and 1 more year to get rid of Ryno.

 

LA has family areas also, beaches, nice weather, why not live there if you can?

 

I think the rockets have a good shot at LeBron. If he believes what he said after game 3 lost, it's a great chance for him to be a rocket.

 

I said this in another thread Aaron Gordon should be the target if Lebron isn't coming. He is a restricted free agent that would be a perfect fit.

I don’t think he will but that’s why you have dept at the 4 spot (Tucker) to man that spot until then. This also gives HOU the ability to offer Cousins a lower salary due to the injury (Steph Curry like contract).
