We do flood epically because of our garbage city planning and the threat of climate change!

Nobody wants to say it but you know Hurricane Harvey is scaring the **** out of Lebron's family. Wouldn't it scare you?

No. He's not going to live in an area that got flooded and he'll have insurance (including excess flood) that covers everything.

It doesn't stop the family telling him they don't want to be anywhere near a hurricane. Put yourself in a rich families shoes.

Yeah, I live on the east coast and the cities up here are all like Mordor, with Baltimore being the worst.

Houston is a city that grows on people. I always tell people that they should never visit Houston to be tourists because it's so freaking ugly, humid, and hard to get around, but if you want to just relax, eat a lot of really great food, and meet friendly (i.e., not transplanted) people, it's great. And if you're into strip bars, it's the best for that, too.

Name the last one that ruined their city and left thousands of people homeless.

I get it. I love this city too, wouldn't move anywhere else because it's my city. I'm just putting myself in an outsiders shoes.

but **** me for being realistic.

Media hype, LeBron hasn't said anything about Houston recently.

You have more than a handful of sport athletes and celebrities here in Htown. Cp3 has called Houston home and so will LeBron.

This post is like the other which states harden, Cp3, and bron won't be able to play together because they all demand the ball.

Andrew was really bad, but if your argument is that Houston was ruined, it's not worth the debate.

If Lebron is really going to LA, then Paul George is going with him.

George to Houston isn't realistic. He's either signing for the max in OKC or he's going to LA.

I don't think Lebron is coming here or PG. Morey has never made the obvious move. I look forward to Woj tweeting "Player X" has been traded to the Rockets." And we lose our minds because we had no idea "Player X" was available.

Plus Cleveland has nothing to boast itself on.

They're pretty much smaller and dirtier version of Houston. Like people said, who cares?

All the talk last offseason was Chris Paul. @Clutch even did a podcast where he mentioned how the Rockets were strangely confident about Chris Paul.

Before that we openly pursued Melo, Bosh, Dwight, etc.

Maybe the only surprise was Harden?

you mean the rockets didn't just get chris paul. that's odd

what you're referring to is probably all the smaller trades and acquisitions of lesser known players

Tim Kawakami said flat out that he was told Lebron doesn't like Houston. He is a Warriors homer so it was kind of dismissed.

Haynes only said the "not realistic" part

Lebron isn't coming to here sit by the beach. He would be coming here to win championships.

Bringing up the hurricane? Don't your hurt your shoulder with that reach

the only shot we have at Paul George is if Lebron doesn’t choose to go to LA and the Lakers aren’t able to get 2 max players to come there...then maybe Harden and CP3’s recruiting could be enough to sway him to choose Houston over being by himself in LA or staying in OKC with Russ
