I wouldn't normally pay much attention to this, but Woj is the source.

    From TheScore.com...

How would that even work? I thought a sign and trade would hard-cap us.

These articles really mischaracterize what these reporters say.

Woj didn’t say anything about George having us on his list and he was speaking in broad strokes about the rockets being aggressive

Get it done. George is Ariza, Luc & Green in one player. Plus another midrange option if our 3's arent falling. I'd still take him over Lebron

Lebron is far superior than PG.

PG can't stop KD, Lebron could.

Yes, but it wouldn't be a very good option. PG13 shot 33.2% from midrange last season. He did raise his midrange shooting to 35.7% in the playoffs though.

I’d pick PG over Lebron if that was an option. Lebron would be the clear alpha here and I don’t think Harden would allow that.

I think someone mentioned this: Lebron isn’t just a face of a franchise, he’s the face of the league. Why would he take a backseat to Harden? ...being that this is clearly Harden’s team.

PG has shown he can be second fiddle.

Harden can play with ANYONE . . Ego and isht like that is not a concern at all with Harden . . .
    part of his greatness

PG is a better younger version of Ariza
Where did PG show he can play 2nd fiddle ?
The great successful campaign in OKC???????

Nah . . .. Like KD . . .. PG13 seems to have alot of Tracy McGrady in him
and that scares the isht out me

It's a complicated decision if you really had the pick of the two. I think people who say "Lebron is the better player, easy call" are definitely underrating some of the dynamics at work.

Lebron isn't just a player you plug in. You'd also be dealing with the real issue that he'd be here on a one year trial and you'd be guaranteed to be stressing through his free agency next year if you didn't win a title. Lebron also costs a lot more in terms of salary while costing probably the same in terms of assets. Lebron is also known to want to be able to handpick guys for the GM to go after and has no problem publicly calling out the organization if they don't do what he wants. With Lebron you also know the best case is 2 years, MAYBE 3. With George you could envision him and Harden forming a top tandem for 5 years.

It's a tough call. Lebron is MUCH better than George.

The Rockets under Daryl Morey are going to pursue every single angle that would improve their team. Of course the Rockets are going to look into Paul George.... and LeBron James and DeMarcus Cousins and players that aren't even being discussed.

Don't get your hopes up for any of them......... unless the player insists on coming to Houston.

Ehhh........ Not sure Paul George would have done much in the second halves of games 6 and 7....... LeBron James sure as hell would have.

LeBron James is clearly better than everyone else in the world........ and is several levels better than Paul George..... they aren't even comparable.

I will gladly take Paul George (it isn't happening) on the Rockets, but LeBron is vastly superior.

He will if PG won’t sign there. The Thunder can’t even sign another good free agent because of their cap situation. If he can get Eric Gordon for nothing you best believe he’ll do it

I think the rockets should passive aggressively pursue George. That might be far more effective.
