Current thread nonsense aside, can't wait to see what the kid can do with some extended minutes after a season of watching, learning, and bulking up.

I could see Qi easily being capable of 2 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 block per game.:eek::eek:

Look, we all know 'holic is only right about .01% of the time, but this might be that time. Joe Chee actually has potential, specially on the defensive end. Let's see how he develops before we bury him.

Now, ya'll can continue to make fun of 'holic. He actually deserves it.

The kid's got great instincts on the defensive end. (Zhou, not Holic)

This year we should see him get worked into the rotation.

Gotta start somewhere, right? He averaged 11+ ppg in G-League last year and shot .333 from 3.

There's a lot of raw potential there, and his defensive instincts are something a lot of current NBA bigs lack.

Speed, stamina and strength is what Zhou needs to succeed. He also needs to refine his jump shot.

He has a long way to go. Frankly speaking, I was disappointed with his G League performance, barring his excellent shot blocking ability. I hope he can prove me wrong. Hartenstein played better than him, which was somewhat encouraging for the next season.

Just tell him to drink straight up egg yolks. That’ll do the trick.

Wrong. One of the biggest misconceptions when it comes to dieting is the assumption that carbs make you fat. Can it? Absolutely.. but to say carbs alone is the factor for weight gain is erroneous.

A keto, Atkins, low carb diet is not only not ideal for a pro ball player it’s simply not sustainable for an extended period and especially not as a lifestyle.

Besides... someone with Qi’s body composition/frame and metabolism needs the calories to bulk, add mass and get stronger. He just needs to track his gains to make sure he’s not putting on too much to fast as it can shock his lower body and cause injury.

I thought playing Zhou in series was considerable for 2 reasons. (1) It can throw off familiarity a little, but it can also get everyone to focus a little more. (2) It could "devalue" Durant mentally. Instead of putting Durant on some high up-there/we're down here pedestal and playing tight, its saying "We think regular Joe Chee can stand his ground". (And he couldnt have been worse than an 0-12 Game 7 Trevor Ariza.) But thats all passed

I don't think he's NBA caliber. But he has traits to be the rare "defensive specialist", or why else have him?
