I think there are a lot of players on HOU that needs to do some Jr. High layup drills all day. Nene needs to start these, then Luc, then Nene. Eric could benefit from some dribbling drills.
No defense? No chance. Rockets deserved to lose. For them to play lazy defense in the biggest game of the season is troubling.
Luc is like 0 on 4 on very easy layups, made baskets basically...don't know if he's scared or his shoulder is not healed enough to let him shoot at his best but man those easy layups, miss after miss...
Luc and others have been making me mad at times. They should be dunking some of these instead of paying them up. Go up slam it down. Get themselves going with those if you missing easy layups. Dunks get the crowd into it.
Layup drills? Just watch the 3rd quarter of game 3 and you can see Curry doing every type of layup imaginable. It’s like he was Bubba in Forrest Gump when he names all the different shrimp recipes. You can do the Layup with the right hand or left handed Layup. You can even do a 2 handed Layup if ya wants. Dey’s uh Overhand Layup, Underhand Layup, Power Layup, Backhand Layup, Behind the back Layup, Layup through the legs, Middle Reverse Layup, Backhand Reverse Layup, Jumpstop Layup, Floating Layup, Finger roll Layup, Layup off the glass, fast break Layup, Layup in transition, 180 Layup, 360 Layup and I think that’s about it.....
i thought this was going to be a thread about making a game 4 adjustment to attack the basket more. we've had success getting to the rim against them and most likely wont miss so many point blank shots again. we were shooting something like 88% at the rim against them in games 1 and 2. we even started off game 3 by getting a bunch of shots at the rim but went away from it after a few misses, but while we were playing like that we had the lead.
