Imagine you’re MDA. What are your keys to winning Game 3?

    Mine:
Stopping Steph Curry.... I know he has not looked great thus far, but as NBA fans we know that won’t last long. He will come out looking to feed off of the home crowd, and he will be looking for his shot at every opportunity. We have to be a step ahead and keep him off of his game. As soon as he gets going, that’s when the Warriors play effortlessly great. I know this may seem obvious, but I think we need to go out of our way to make him uncomfortable from the jump. Just my two cents. What are y’alls major key’s my young DJ Khaled’s?

The key to winning Game 3 is replicating Game 2.

    2) Play smarter.

    3) Don't give up and start gambling when the refs kill your run.

Keys are simple. Continue on the ball movement theme. Harden was much more decisive and made his moves earlier but he still can improve and needs to improve

Tucker has allways played in our wins. So when he plays well we play well. Ariza finished really well around the bucket and looked good on defense.

Biggest key is Eric playing well which helps us keeping the scoreboard moving and putting pressure on there defense

"the key to game 3 is clap clap clap" -milkhair

    1. keep up the aggression - role players didn't settle for contested 3s, they drove. they dove for the loose balls. the effort was there.

    2. keep up the defensive focus/intensity - not only did we slow them down but the defense sparked our offense

    3. keep up the pace - get a shot up before the warriors set their defense

    4. movement - cutting and passing lead to open / easy shots.

I can see it now. Steph weaving in and out through screens, running wild on the perimeter. They’re going to try and feature him heavily and get him hot. More Steph, less KD (which is still a lot of KD). Gna be hard to play like today on the road if we’re trying to adjust mid game. I might be wrong, but just a strong feeling.

I disagree. More important to keep Klay corralled. If he gets going, more opens up for them. I’ll take our chances with just KD and Steph scoring.

    Control what you can control.

    That is Klay Thompson.

He is a much lesser player when you don’t let him get open.

8 points tonight and the only three shots he hit were all wide open...

F$#k Steph Curry. I say we play more physically against Durant. Keep him uncomfortable all night long. He'll still get 25+, but it won't be as impactful. Give KD a little sliver of space and he'll torch anyone. Body up on him and let him feel you're right there against him and it'll throw him off just enough to bring him down to Earth.

I can see where you’re coming from. Obviously, with the Warriors, somebody will get theirs. I just feel, Steph, being the longest tenured Warrior, and the GSW Golden Child, is more important to keep in check from a mental standpoint. If he gets going like pre-injury Steph, that’s going to become a huge momentum swing that will be tough to stop. He is the heart of their team in terms of likability and if he gets the blood pumping that’s tough to stop. We’ll see how it shakes out.

What we did tonight in game 2 was great. We tired out the warriors who have a very depleted bench. Make curry and durant work for every shot. They will score but make it very tiring. We have a roster which is something they lack. Heck our garbage minutes consisted of luc and ryno joe johnson and tariq black. We need to make them work on both ends of the court. We will wear them out if we keep the ball moving.

All this being said, the Rockets are aware of this. But, I think it’s fun to play Head Coach and see what y’all would do adjustment wise if anything.

Play defense like tonight's game and be aggressive on offense, even if your shots aren't falling keep putting up shots and attack the rim and ofcourse limit the iso.

Continue to attack Curry on switches if GS is willing to give them up.

Attack immediately if GS is in conventional PnR defense.

Continue to take away GS off ball movement by switching.

Be careful with Ariza's fouls as he has been amazing on Durant.
