So what he only took 9 shots. So are you saying he was only passed the ball 9 times no. He was ineffective period. His shot attempts don't tell the entire story. Stop acting like it does if you really watched the game. So if Teague tried to ISO instead who's fault is that? Oh lemme guess

    Seriously.

You live with Jamal Crawford and Derrick Rose trying to beat you.

You live with Gorgui Deng hitting 22 foot covered jumpers.

Defense tonight was fine. Hit a few more 3's and Aaron Jackson gets some PT

PJ and Ariza didnt have it going. Neither was particularly good on defense, and PJ almost lost it for us by his atrocious coverage of Teague down the stretch. Is there a reason why JJ didnt see more than 7 mins? I would have to assume that he cant play any worse than them, and might have offered something on the offensive end.

We didn't lose our cool all the way. Even though Paul made a bone headed turnover down the stretch, overall we kept our composure and kept grinding.

I will say we needed every bit of those 44 points from James Harden. He played with that killa swag tonight. Refused to lose tonight. Love it.

What I'm saying is that an effective game plan against our defensive scheme would result in him getting 15+ shots, many of which would be against our guards.

If you were coaching against a team that switched on every play, what would you do?

You severely underestimate Houston and their defense. If it was so easy to take advantage of, this wouldnt be their staple of how they operate on the defensive end.

Yeah let's stop what helped win 65 games because you lost one game. Oh wait, they won.

defense is fine.. minny in its best offensive game came up with barely 100pts

we need to make our 3s.. not 25% but at least 35%

and we need to rebound more and take better care of the bball

cp3, tucker, gg, jj all still have butterflies in their stomach playing their first playoff game along side not against Hargawd

cp3 just needs to calm down.

it looked like he was playing a 100mph. like he had ADD or something.

not that usual calming control that we've been used to expect from him. i would think it was nerves but he's 32 years old and this aint his first rodeo.

    just weird.

i expect him to bounce back in game 2. i hope.

ariza, gordon, tucker, and green need to get some balls and hit their shots. can't have shooting like that when teams decide to double harden.

Yolo it's all of their fault. The Coach should've adjusted after the half once he seen the Rockets switching guards on Towns. His teammates for not saying the big fella has a mouse in the house, so let me dump it to him and finally Towns for not opening up his mouth and demanding the dang ball when he has a mouse on him. Come on big timer you've been around the game for a hot minute. So you know the game better than that.

we need to really focus on not shooting 27% from 3's first and foremost

Everyone in the league knows the rockets switch everything. That's not exactly an adjustment. That's on the opposing team's bulletin board when you play the rockets. Just bc the rockets switch everything that doesn't mean they're going to just get punished bc obviously more often than not hou wins

Everyone shooting bad was just playoff nerves though it is somewhat concerning what will happen down the stretch in a big game though.

Minnesota has been playing a lot of high pressure games for a while and the rockets haven't. Hopefully when they play enough games they'll get used to it.

Minny got a lot of rebounds and shot way too many FTs. If we get similar rebound numbers and don't let Minny camp on the FTs line, it will be a quickie.

I've seen plenty teams with legit big men punish our guards down low on the switch. The Wolves elected not to follow that simple game plan. You can best believe they exploit it in game 2.

Enough to actually impact the game and win. I'll take my chances and say no. There's a difference bw getting a few buckets and just dominanting at will to the point of being unstoppable. The wolves have tried all kinds of things playing hou this year. It doesn't matter

Is that the reason why warriors are going for their 3rd straight?

    Perfect game.

Let's face it. We had played the last 20 games of the season knowing we had # 1 locked up.

So this game was good to get the guys back. Not only did we knock off rust, we got the W

I thought the defense was fine, the main problem was our offense

everyone not named Gawden or Capela was trash offensively

CP3 morphed into the worst version of Jeremy Lin with all those missed shots and mindless turnovers

we got a lot of open looks from deep, but we couldn’t connect

we only went 10-37 from deep...if we hit our average of 15 threes then Minny gets blown out...they do not generate enough 3 point attempts to keep pace with us...tonight they only shot 23 threes, that won’t get it done against us...they managed to get away with it tonight because we were so below average in terms of makes and percentage from three
