I could have swore that the thunder were supposed to play the blazers regardless of the blazers and jazz outcome. Sheesh

OKC may have won the season series 3-1, but all those games were before January. We all know Utah got better late in the season. OKC hasn't seen this version of the Jazz. However, I don't think the NBA is going to let the Thunder lose.

Thunder are so lucky they missed the Blazers.. pfft.

Even after OKC's bullsh-t season, they get a home court playoff series.. pfft x 2

Rockets/Wolves will have more points scored in 5 games than this series will in 7. Should be super ugly.

    Jazz in 7.

I expect a lot of ugly basketball this series. Bad offense after bad offense. Meanwhile Utah will have an elite defense that overtakes “star” power.

The moment might be too much for the Jazz. OKC should take them.

probably okc in 6. i wanna say 5 but homecourt and snyder should get them an extra game.

rooting for a 7 game series and the jazz win in quintuple overtime.

OKC, Golden State, Houston all got ideal first-round matchups. Golden State though made out in their bracket.

But you're right... OKC played all those games before January. The Jazz were struggling, 15-19 after their last game with OKC. Also, Andre Roberson played in all four of those games.

Still, I think OKC wins this series.

That's not how the playoffs works unfortunately. Playoffs are about the stars for the most part. Despite their trash season OKC has 3 stars; 3 players that will be better than anyone the Jazz can put on the court.

Gobert will be the 2nd best player on the court.
Mitchell is better than melo at this point.
Utah has a bevy of wing defenders to throw at pg.

Usually it’s stars that rule but I don’t buy it with okc.

Now that Westbrook is done with his triple double stat padding, his goal for the season has been achieved. Nothing left to play for.

    Jazz in 6.

Not sure how rg is the 2nd best player when he needs someone else to get him the ball tonbe effective. Mitchell is about to get a taste of the bright lights in a huge way in okc. It's not going to go well. Okc in no way lacks confidence in themselves. Utah is very much a question mark with there perimeter guys all having 0 experience. There isn't a wing that matches up well with pg13/melo on Utah.

The fact that most people do not want you to play okc in the 2nd round seem to be finding themselves falsing promoting Utah. Utah is not a real threat in the playoffs

I think Thunder might pummel them in 4/5 or it goes to 7 where Jazz have a real shot at upset.

I am looking forward to a terrible series nu westbrook. He is shooting terribly and at the ring gobert is waiting for him.

I really hope the jazz wil win. Of only they had home court advantage....

Thunder is a bad match up for the Jazz. I think the key is to shutdown Mitchell and make him play like a rookie. Sticking Paul George will slow him down. Adams can handle Gobert. Hoping this goes 7.
