As long as they have KD and Green, they can beat anyone. Just like as long as we have Harden and CP3, we can beat anyone. Curry is so massively overrated IMO that it's not even funny.

    A little delusional

They have not been nearly as good without Curry. They would be vulnerable

Max Kellerman gets it, SAS not so much. Also. I'm not convinced SAS doesn't understand that Curry is a PG but Durant is not. He doesn't understand it isn't a simple flip Durant into the Curry position or just feed Durant the ball more, it's a whole new offensive philosophy. Losing Curry to them is like if we lost CP3. It's not the same team. Also, what people are overlooking is a turnover prone, fresh off injury weakly conditioned Curry is more damaging to the warriors than no Curry. I get that the warriors have great pieces, so do we. To still favor them at this point shows clear bias over what the data is trending toward.

Its questionable if the Dub's get out of the first round without Curry .... Utah or Minny could punch their ticket home. Those teams are young and hungry.

I think Golden State would beat Minnesota sans Curry. It could go 6, but the Warriors are still a better team. But I really don't like that Utah matchup for them without Curry. The Jazz will beat the crap out of Golden State that entire series. Even if the Warriors escape, they'll be exhausted when they face off against Portland(presumably) in the semis.

Warriors aren't going anywhere without Curry.

Kevin Durant may be better than Curry, however, the warriors have players that can replace his production when he is out.
Dramond Green and Andre Iguodala can slide into the small forward spot and make up the lost defense, scoring and rebounding.

Stephen Curry may not be the best player on the Warriors, but there is no-one on the Warriors that can replace his production.
Stephen Curry distributes that ball and also gives them floor spacing with his outside shooting and dribble penetration.

I am sorry, but Shaun Livingston, Nick Young, Patrick McCaw won't come anywhere close to making up Curry's lost production.
The Warriors are 13-8 without Curry this year, which is about a 61% winning percentage.
In other words, they are worse than the Boston Celtics and on par with the Portland Trailblazers and Cleveland Cavaliers.

[ESPN] How good are the Warriors without Stephen Curry?

[The Washington Post] Steph Curry will miss at least three weeks, but the Warriors are still title favorites

[The Washington Post] Just how much will the Warriors miss Steph Curry?

Just what I was thinking when I made this post in another thread -

IF they get past a scrappy Utah team in round one they have a tough Portland team waiting in the wings that has already beaten them twice when they were still "trying" to get the #1 seed ..... then a Rockets team who has taken the season series.

Utah is a very physical team , they could beat them ..... without Curry.

He’s right. No one is unbeatable. That’s why you play the games.
