Steve Kerr really thinks he is some sort of guru.

Why practice or work on making adjustments to the adjustments the rest of the league has made when you can hit up Benihana and then take in seminar with Tony Robbins.

Talking **** about James Harden online, using secret identities online, making a big deal out of letting your players draw up plays, bringing in Tony Robbins. Taking his players to the clubs when in Florida.

All of these cute things will be lauded if they win the title. However, their play has eroded this year and if they some how lose to Houston you can count on Kerr getting the blame.

IMO, Kerr doesn't believe he is a guru. I think he realizes he isn't getting through to his players and is desperately reaching for anything that might jumpstart the team.

He knows they are in big trouble. Quite frankly, I don't blame him for pulling out the stops. He doesn't care if it makes them look silly.

He inherited a roster that performed a certain way, then drastically improved their final standing. He took 2 bench players and turned them into big salary guys (Draymond + Barnes). He won 73 games. Mystery Tweets aside, stop reaching for ways to criticize. Bad look.

Cuban turned Barnes in a big salary guy actually lol, pretty sure Myers (or better, West, wouldn't have match a similar offer sheet).

Mystery tweets aside (which remains super pathetic for a 52 years old man), dude is coaching 4 all stars, two of them being mvp caliber players, McHale would probably get similar results and yeah, Luke Walton did better than him coaching them.

You're mistaking laughing at someone with criticizing them.

Man, I'm sure glad Rudy never felt the need to embarrass the team by bringing in a motivational speaker. I would cringed as a player. And I sure did  when I heard McHale (or was it JBB) had to bring one in for Dwight Howard.

Nah. Laughing at him. Like when he fired D'Antoni and laughed at him. Hopefully THAT lends some motivation...

Tony Robbins is a fraud and now the bottom of this page is advertising his books. Fantastic. At least they're not advertising Warriors jerseys. Of course, now that I typed that <-- they might.

Kerr's smug "too cool for school" schtick is beyond annoying. I am sure there will be more broken clipboards in the future. Or maybe he can play with his rubik's cube.
