@sarahbarshop: Kareem Jackson has been the Texans’ slot corner, so it will be interesting to see if he moves to safety or the team moves on. Adding Colvin doesn’t mean the Texans are done at CB.
Correct. BUT he will have the benefit of playing with, arguably, the best front seven in the game (when healthy).
Exactlyyyyyyy what I thought about. He will have to clean up Johnson’s missed tackles. And I hope he trains with Usain Bolt if he wants to track down Joseph’s guys burning him on every other play.
1.) JJ is a FA. 2.) Maybe he wants the opportunity to shine as the #1 guy. Pretty sure Texans pitched that to him and/or told him the plans to become better on D. I'm also sold on the fact people want to play for a young rising star in Watson.
So if HOU reaches top status again on the Defensive end... Who has the better offense? Better overall team? Bortles or Watson? Hopkins? etc. Wait till JAG's catch the injury bug next year and are wondering where Colvin went.
JJ should not be part of plans going forward. I'm sure he has a better chance to shine here. He wouldn't get as many reps in Jacksonville.
