Houston if you want to keep an ELITE basketball team step up! When players notice this. It’s not a good look. This team is better than Any Texans team ever created. Stop selling out egg ball games, and start coming to Rockets games
OP if you’re so sick of, what are you doing to help? Texas will always be a football town, no body really cares if they one of 82 regular season game in nba. Look for playoff to be a bit better.
Is the pricing ridiculous? I no longer live in Houston (though still support the Rox), so idk.. how are ticket prices? When I lived in LA, laker tickets were ridiculous - so when the Rox came to town, I'd just go watch em beat up on the Clippers... lol
THis is what I feel happened. A lot of true rockets left the city. I left Houston 10 years ago and I am die hard rockets fan. Maybe this is the issue
Maybe sell cheaper tickets? I am sick of expensive Tickets? Let those go for half price and see the seats fill up.
Rockets are 15th in league attendance - and far lower than any other elite team...and lower than Dallas!!!! How is Dallas more of a basketball town than Houston. They have the Cowboys. They have a hockey and baseball team. Even so, it seems odd that so many seats are empty.
You think the lack of a football team will make people with club seats sit in their seats? Those lower club seats are sold but "fans" are slow to leave the East and West clubs. The club section at Texans game has a very similar look with many fans hanging out at the bars in the club but it's less obvious on TV being at the 300 level.
Cost like $250 a seat at the top of the lower bowl. Wtf. Plus the games are too early for Htown traffic Those are the 2 issues
things will probably never change...TC will always consistently have a weak and pathetic atmosphere except for a select few games

Then buy a ticket to the game. Dont just sit on the comp and complain. Spend your own money, not other peoples money
People are always late. It’s hard to get there on time if you live in the burbs. Wife and I both get off around 5, by the time we get Home it’s 5:45. Clear lake to downtown takes about 1.5 hours during traffic.
On top of what everyone else has mentioned I think a large portion of those tickets down low are corporate seats which explains the people getting there late (I.e. it’s a free ticket to them combined with the work hours probably suck at the corporations owning those seats).
