That team isn't very tall or very black. And Yi Jianlian is such a huge waste of great physical tools.
IDK if sarcasm or not but the "Tall Blacks" is a play on New Zeland's Rugby team name, the "All Blacks", because they wear all-black. The Soccer team wears all white, so they are known as the "All Whites"
It's definitely NOT an upset. They beat them to win the world cup qualifying pool last year. It's possible China has beaten them in qualifiers in the past, but usually the tall Blacks are only behind Australia in the rankings for that section. The reason China holds a higher world ranking is that the best Kiwi players are overseas and don't take part in the friendly mid year games.
Theres even an Aussie fan on here somewhere though I hope we don't run into him. Aussie fan if you're reading this then bugger off. Pavlova was invented in NZ.
