I don't even understand why he's mocking THE PROCESS, it obviously paid dividends look at Embiid and Simons now.

Fultz isn't part of THE PROCESS, he was handpicked by Colangelo who had just one job but blew it.

I disagree ... It hasn't paid off yet . When you tank spectacularly , the expectations have to be huge on the other end . This would be like saying the Astros ranking paid off in 2014 .

If you purposely engage in a massive suckathon nothing less than a chip and multiple deep playoff runs can be a success ...

    At least IMO

Bro they only did it for four short years. In 4 years they got Embiid, Noels, Simmons and a top 3 pick in this year's draft how is that a bad haul? How many franchises out there have been bad for so long? Just because they were "trying" it doesn't make the result any better than the Sixers. Look at the Kings they've been "trying" for such a long time since Adelman left who has the better team now, Sixers or Kings?

You're asking for the impossible tank for four years and suddenly chip and multiple playoff runs? Even OKC spent 6 years doing nothing and they had KD, lottery pick and clear capspace from day 1.

No. I'm not saying it had been a failure... I'm just saying it hasn't been a success yet. They've gotten a great haul and it looks promising. But when you tank that hard, you cant just be happy you've got young players that look like great prospects. They have to actually have success. I'm not saying i expect success yet either. The process is just now entering the stage where they are trying to compete. But I think saying that it has paid off is premature.

Max doesn't believe in personal accountability. Pick a topic where an individual and blame are a topic and he will never blame the individual he will find something else to blame. Always... It's China, the league, owners, coaches, system, etc... Always making excuses and shedding blame. It's what he does and I know why but not going to say it in the dish.
