New Rockets tradition: standing up for the final two minutes of every half

Hard to do this with all the blowouts, life is so difficult for Rockets fans

 

OKC fans also don't sit until the first basket is made
think it's a good idea to motivate lazy fans lol

 

at least it’s something...there are people at the games who will only get up to use the bathroom, go get some food, or when it’s free T-shirt time

 

People love free t shirts. Tale as old as time.

 

Also hard to do at the beginning of halves, when the arena is half empty.

 

that's what really needs fixing.

this is a nice tradition if they can get it going. some college teams stand at the beginning of the game until their first point. that would be fun for the fans to adopt, and useful since the rockets get out to slow starts.

 

Boring games are difficult, and boring.

 

man, I’ve sat next to people who were quiet all game, and then all of the sudden the T-shirts come out and they’re rowdy...once that was done they went back to acting like they were at the library
