They'll cut Black - the obvious thing to do given his contract - and people will b**** around as if it makes a difference to our championship odds. Guess what: it doesn't!!

Morey is smart, he's not hurting next year cap, even if both Troy n Nanu are useless for a run this year.

They can be under the tax without releasing Black.
Im more worried that Black will go to the Warriors if waived. He can actually help them, we don't want that.
You're going for the ring godammit, pay the $$

Onuaku is 2 years away from being 2 years away. He is pointless on a win now team.

The problem with waiving Black is him being picked up by a western playoff team who needs center depth.

    Nobody is picking up Onuaku.

I guess we'll see later today how it shakes out .... like I said , I don't want to see Black get the axe , just think he's the logical choice cap wise.

I'm sorry but I thinking cutting Black is a bad move.
Nene is a walking injury waiting to happen at this point in his career.

I thought Rox have a empty roster slot.
And all they need was to cut off waterboy, i meant bobby brown.

Financially speaking there really isn't a discussion to be had. Black isn't guaranteed money beyond this year, therefore he's gone. If we felt he was postseason battle worthy we wouldn't have added Brandon Wright.

Zhou, Troy, Brown, Hunter. Those are the players who contribute less.

Zhou & Troy are owed money on next years cap.

Brown and Hunter don't count against the cap being on two way deals.

Honestly, I didn't think about that. Black has his limitations, but he is not junk.

I would feel easier, if Wright hadn't had so many injuries. Can Black, make it to the playoff roster along with the rest of the gang? If yes, then retain Black. If not, then he won't be of use to Houston.

I voted Williams because I felt Black's salary could be used post draft as an expiring for a deal. But the way @Codman talks, it sounds like Morey isn't done shopping yet! So it might be BOTH Black and Williams.
