Everyone picked them to return to the Finals. But then they significantly downgraded from Irving to Thomas. Everyone, including LeBron is aging and tiring. Most importantly, Raptors and Celtics are much improved and legit contenders. If I had to bet my house on whether Cavs comes out of the East or not, I'd pick no. Concur?
Their defense will ultimately fail them. Their offense still has time to adjust with IT and Rose coming back, but I don't see how their defense can improve significantly with their personnel. The Cavs need to rebuild in the post-Lebron era.
They look like ****. LeBron is a shitty GM, but with that said, I still think they return to the Finals. I don't think LeBron will let them lose to Boston. I still think they'll get there, but the difference between them and the West superpowers got wider, and the East competition got tighter. SIL
Western Finals = NBA Finals. Whoever comes out of the East doesn't stand a chance. Warriors Rockets Spurs Thunder All four would run roughshod over the Eastern teams. Probably even Minnesota beats them too.
Cavs aren't good right now but let's wait and see what trade(s) they make. It's clear the Nets draft pick is in play. It isn't just about age or talent. That squad needs a chemistry shake up. Firing Lue probably won't do any good because nobody else on their staff seems like a good replacement. If the dysfunction continues after the ASB, I'll jump on the bandwagon to bury them.
lerbon gonna fire lue, he wasn't good to begin with. then gonna turn and give the job to his old buddy kevin ollie.
Lebron to the Bobcats C Dwight Howard PF Lebron James SF doesn’t matter SG doesn’t matter PG doesn’t matter
The day LeBron leaves the East is the day I'll be confident in claiming a LeBron-less team will represent in the NBA Finals.
I'm on the side of LerBon not ever being just an innocent bystander in coach firings and player trading. Notice how he didn't defend Lue. They're still making the finals. Not sure how. Maybe new coach, maybe big trade, maybe they gel.
I don't get Lue's answer. His poor choice of words are unnecessarily provocative. Does he want the players respect, or not? If Lue is fired, his "agenda" comment may have been the first foot out the door.
