I'm still amazed that Redick is this good in the league, but I really shouldn't be. The shooting numbers were there in college. He transitioned from centerpiece to high-scoring role player very well. Go back and look at that '06 Draft and it's amazing the players that went ahead of him. His shooting numbers the last several years have been bananas. He's a career 41.4% three-point shooter.
Unlike a lot of shooters he is also a good passer and very active with cuts, moving around screens extremely well. Personally I feel like JJ is one if the more underrated players in the league, especially when compared to a certain Warriors shooting guard. He was at the top of my wish list before he went to Philly. I would love for him to be getting some of the money Anderson is getting... Even in spite of the dunk against the Suns.
He's a better than 41% career 3 point shooter, that's why. I'm not sure why Rockets fans would value 3 point shooters.....
Seriously would love to have him on our tream! I'm hoping that having CP3 on our team and the fact we are a legit threat to the title will convince him to come hear at a dicount. It might be a pipe-dream but it's my dream and I'm sticking to it! ....... ....... .......
He's elite in the singular facet we preach, and doesn't require the ball 99% of the other times he's effective. SIL
