Isiah's deal is expiring. Rox might not be at the apron but their 18M capspace isn't enough for either Cp3 or Lebron.

Ryan Anderson will not be on this team if Lebron is coming here.

Also I don't care about the top pick they can draft or try using that in trade, no one they will be getting will be as good as James Harden. The time is now for CP and Lebron they don't have time to waste.

If they do take pay cuts, they're not going to take enough to keep gordon

Clint by birds righting him is plausible, we can probably keep Green, Ariza would be an if, and the corpse of Dwyane Wade would puppy dog his way here no doubt.

    Still better than Anderson.

Getting rid of 2 smaller deals is always easier than getting rid of 1 big deal esp. if that dude is as overpaid and as useless as Anderson.

The point is its easier for Cleveland to clear their roster to get Cp3 than for Houston to get rid of Anderson and sign both Lebron and Cp3.

Because they have the pick and because they dont have as a bad a deal as Anderson Cleveland is a bigger threat to sign Cp3.

Our cap isn't any better 18M is not even enough to sign Cp3.

In terms of generating Capspace Cavs are in a better spot than Houston because they have more assets. I'm sure other teams would take JR smith easily for a low round pick. Which team would take Anderson's 20M salary for a pooh pooh platter? Morey has been trying to get rid of Anderson since the deadline last year to no avail. And that was when anderson was averaging 12 pts on 40% 3 pt fg, now he is shooting 10 pts on 37% 3 pt fg.

CP# was "promised" long-term stability upon forcing his way here

That's simply not true, we could clear down to 60m free pretty easily, not that we'd want to, we have a lot of players on lowish money.

Morey was willing to pay nothing at all to clear Anderson, if you're making space for Lebron, you need to clear out EG as well, which makes getting rid of Anderson fairly easy (remember, he'll never be able to trade away Lin and Asik, yet he came out ahead? yeah those deals were worse), not to mention that we have all our first round picks back.

Harden is one of the greatest offensive players in the history of the NBA. He’s in his prime, he deserved to get paid. I’m happy we don’t have to worry about him ever leaving. Ain’t no hometown discount lol that pitch might work for Gerald Green.

    What are you talking about?

Lin and Asik were making 8M a year on their deals. Compare that to Anderson 20M a year. Also Lin and Asik went to two different teams, like I said it is easier to trade 2 small dudes than 1 big dude, Asik wasn't even seen as a liability he was an asset and we received a low pick for him.

Ok name 1 team that will take a combined 35M in salary and not give any back wtf.

What does "stability" mean, it sounds like equality, fairness, affordability, all the favourite buzzwords

Does it mean the same coach/front office and James? not a lot of turnover? that the team is locked into win now mode?

Ok you seem pretty well off since you have the time to post in an internet forum. Why don't you donate half your belongings and half your earnings to make wells in Africa?

It's pretty easy to tell other people to take less money.

There's no reason they'd have to go to the same teams either? i mean you like touched the subject and then leaped over it

You're not having to pay to get rid of Gordon, you're getting stuff back for him, he is simply better than his contract

Which leaves you with assets to move Anderson

This is a dicey scenario. There's no guarantee CP3 even wants to stay when it's all said and done. There's no guarantee Tilman can afford to pay 2 guys the supermax. There's no guarantee CP3 will remain healthy another 4 years. Good luck, Daryl.
