    Simple question.

The Rockets can give CP3 4yrs at $150Mil or if they wait till summer the price tag would be 5yrs at $205Mil.

I think he's worth the money but I have concerns about the length of the extension because of age and health.

    What do you guys think?

Nothing will happen until the off-season. Morey will somehow rid himself of Ryan Anderson so that LBJ and CP3 can split everything under the cap. Then they will go over the cap to resign Clint and sign Ariza and Luc to a vet min contracts.

    CP3
    Harden/Gordon
    Ariza/Luc
    LBJ/Tucker
    Clint/Nene

If we are going after Lebron, CP3 is going to have to take a pay cut, even if only for one year. As such, no extension.

Yes, but after Anderson is traded because LeBron is committed (this summer).....then Capela/Ariza and Maybe Luc MaM

    It's a no-brainer.

Yes, there's a risk but what's the alternative? Sign Lou Williams?

Depends on the money. Can’t go into next year even more handcuffed than this year. Harden should’ve taken a hometown discount, but we know what he cares about. It’s not about the owner needs to pay up, it’s about realising the restrictions of the cap and how we need the room. You’d think CP3 understands that, but if he doesn’t, he can walk for all I care.

This isn't even Harden's hometown why will he take a hometown discount? Everybody cares about money, otherwise you would work for free and just take wellfare from the govt.

More than likely it also won't happen. What's preventing Lebron from recruiting Cp3 into Cleveland?

For all those ******** on my post, that’s cool, but ask yourself this: do you really want to max out CP3 if it means pretty much the same roster?
You want CP3 to demand the max knowing if he’d take a pay cut we could get another rotation player?

Also knowing how hard it will be to overtake the Warriors, shouldn’t players realise with our win-now mode that they need to sacrifice? In my opinion it makes sense that Harden at least should have waited or just sign for less. The man makes tens of millions, if you are all about winning, you need to sacrifice. Period.

Being at the apron before cp3 gets paid 1 cent

We're a better organisation than Cleveland

That a cp3 pay discount amounts to a bird rights 1 year deal

    We don't have Dan Gilbert

That's not to say that Lebron comes here, but there's no chance CP3 goes there.

Why? Isiah Thomas is expiring. Not only that they don't have a contract as horrible as Ryan Anderson.

They have Lebron and a top pick. They don't have Anderson making 20M a year.
