Harden's first significant injury in Houston comes when a HOF playmaker can carry the slack......Not too shabby.

    Let's keep winning !!!

    Hating on the Magic?

Because they are terrible, worst team in the league terrible. In a season noted for a ton of mediocrity, they are still managing to separate themselves in their badness.

Houston offense is a pick your poison scheme for defenses

    1) Harden PnR & D collapses on Capela/Nene & Harden——leaving 3-pt shooters open & get killed by 3-pt shooters

    or

    2) Stay glued to 3-pt shooters and deny Capela role——Harden goes for 50 or more

The question is when defenses stay with the 3-pt shooters and deny outlet to said 3-pt shooters. Can CP3 score
50 or more pts consistently or enough to beat a good team? Hopefully Harden is back soon.

This team will be great when everyone is healthy including Capela/Nene/Luc MaM/Harden plus addition of Green

GSW are not going to let CP3 penetrate and pass the ball everywhere. They will say what are you going
to do with it once you are in our trap. We will give you your CP3.....but the others will be taken out

Well at least once it counts in the playoffs (with no Harden)

Teams don’t belong to one player. This wasn’t Hardens team. It isn’t Paul’s tea, now.

    Quit feeding division.

    1. This is why rockets lose so much games vs teams with scrubby records...going into the game they think like the poster you responded to...BUT this is nba any team can beat any other on any given night and its true to the bone no matter how cliche it sounds.

    2. If you give it a more serious thought even 20 pts win means you outplayed the other team ONLY BY by 7 possessions, and the best teams have cca 10 pts differential, aka they outplay others ONLY BY 3 possessions per game!!(WOW). This is such a minuscule difference. Basically the superstars and the scrubs of the nba are for all practical purposes almost equally talented players, thats why there are so many unexpected surprises in nba and differences in status of the players almost on a daily basis, let alone year to year.

3, So the difference between the best and the others is not more than 3 possessions during the course of hundered or more possessions...only 3% ! That means that confidence, effort, attitude (plus randomness and refs) are the most determinant factor in deciding who wins the game and not the talent.

    And just to follow up...

The most efficient play in the entire NBA this season has been Harden isolations. Just ahead of a curry/green pnr.

Harden isolations don't happen in a vacuum. Every missed shot and turnover led to a scrambled defense and sometimes 4 on 3s, 4 on 5s.

Steve Kerr has said he doesn't like spamming PNR's because when players don't get involved in the offense, they tend to check out defensively. I absolutely believe it. Harden was efficient in really high volume but he was not good for the confidence of the mentally weak like Anderson.

And while he phased guys out, he killed the team on defense. I really find it hard to believe the team like playing Harden the past 3 weeks.

It is still a team game, no matter how you cut it. Ball movement is so critical and defense wins championships.

Did you enjoy the Harden isolations in the last 5 minutes of the Celtics game?
