I want to make one thing CLEAR. The problem is NOT the money the Rockets are willing to give. Tillman WILL PAY! The problem is the way an opposing team may construct their offer sheet. It will be built to NOT be friendly towards the Rockets.

Yea or if he wants more than Dj. Even if he is shooting better at ft if he asks more than what we would pay DJ I would take Dj and let John Lucas work with him or our staff that worked with Clint. Dwight improved a bit his ft and Clint has too. Maybe Deandre Jordan could improve more. He did had a stretch of hitting a high percentage of his ft at the beginning of this season

Sound like he is the one interested coming, not the other way around.

If that is the scenario, take the vet min, split minutes with capela to have an elite center rested 100% of the games.

    Wave Black.

    THIS IS HUGE GUYS.

The DJ flirtation has been going on since the Paul deal. This is the signal the Rox have been waiting for and affects so many other things. With DJ making it clear he'll discount this means possible cap space for a signing next summer.

Because.......cp3.....will discount significantly (for one season) to bring in another big name. Remember I told you.....cp3 will discount significantly (for one season) for the right guy.

I rather have Clint. I don't want to have to worry about hack-a-strategy anymore. I still have a nightmare from Dwight and josh smith

theres no such thing as improving your ft drastically after 10 years in the league and about to hit 30. DJ is who he is at the line.

Yeah if someone gives Capela some huge, backloaded deal, you let him walk and get Jordan for cheap.

Jordan has an opt-out option in his contract. He's making $22M this year. If he's willing to sacrifice, can Morey knock him down to half that figure? Maybe 2/3 of it? That would be an okay thing.

    Discount for sure means MLE.

So DJ for MLE or Clint for 18m+ a season.

I'll stick with Clint. He's younger with a better free throw percentage. And wouldn't he have a smaller cap hold?

How do u know that means MLE? Discount for him could be 14-15 mil/yr.

Interesting! The curse of Jeremy Lin continues............... We are going to get Linned. I hope Cap stays cause of his age and growth. DeAndre is probably homesick.

I also read your response in Hulk Hogans voice.

If it's the MLE, you do this without hesitation. Jordan is getting old, but he basically doesn't miss games.

Some bottom feeder is going to throw Capela crap load of money. It has happened to worse players.

    Dwight has improve this season.
And idk if you saw any Clippers games but he was perfect at the line for a couple games. His ft started to regressed when they went on a losing streak. Also hitting ft is about ur mind too. DJ has a good form. Better than Clint or Dwight. Dwight supposedly hits his ft at practice. But you know how he is mentally.

    So he can improve.

We won't be able to offer anything else unless we dump a lot of our guys such as Gordon and Anderson.
